4 week ski course

Miniclub

For the youngest of children, we at SnowWorld, offer a Miniclub. Here, children from 3 years can get to know the snow. During this course, taking 3 weeks, children will learn to get used to the snow and make fun! Each lesson will take one hour.

During the first hour children will go up the slopes with the instructor. Walking in the snow with ski boots is difficult, so the instructor will pay special attention to this. Thereafter the instructors will learn to put on the skis and get acquainted with walking with these long slats. When all goes well the children will slide down on our small slopes for the first few meters. After this the first hour is finished.

During the second lesson there will be a quick reap of last lesson. Thereafter they will almost immediately continue practising sliding down the slopes. By doing fun exercises we will make sure that your child will quickly feel at home in the snow. Often halfway during the second lesson we will try to make “ski plough”. Sometimes this is a bit difficult for our tiny skier’s, but practice makes it perfect. That’s why we will focus more on this during the third lesson.

During the fourth, also last, lesson, the final goal of actively moving with the skis, keeping balance and braking for the first time will be achieved.

There is no minimum participant number for skiing/snowboarding courses. Tip: classes are often smaller in the summer and pre-season, so you can get more intensive lessons then.

Champion Card

With the help of the champion card it is explained in a playful way, what the kids will learn in class. For each part of the learning pathway is checked when the kids are practicing that part and whether they have mastered it. Is the champion card complete? Then they can move on to the next level.
