Adults (from 13 years onwards) can follow a 4-week skiing course at SnowWorld. In 4 weeks you will have 4 lessons of 1,5 hours to get to grips with skiing. During these 4 days you will be standing on the skis with an instructor for at least 6 hours.
How does the course look like? The goal of the course it that the participants start on the first day without any experience. The instructor will lean how to handle the skis followed by a first introduction in gliding. Eventually a first start will be made with the famous “ski plough”. The goal is to go down the big slopes with ease in good plow curves on Sunday.
This course is a prequal on the beginners course (level 1)
The lessons will continue where they left off the last time namely, with the (easy) plow curves on the big slopes. At the beginning of the lesson the instructor will make a short decent to get to group re-introduced with skiing. During the course the speed will be gradually increased. By several playful exercises the participants will gain more control about the skis and will be able to control their speed more easily. The end goal of this course is to make a start with parallel curves (parallel crossing followed by plow curves).
The group will consist of a maximum of 8 participants under supervision by a skilled instructor.
This course is a prequal on the intermediate course (level 2)
What Is the goal of this course? The goal is to get to ski with ease and feel relaxed on the skis by applying the before taught techniques. By doing so you will get (less) tired and have a lower chance at injuries, besides that the skiing joy will increase. During the lessons you will learn to use your whole body and work to develop a rhythm during skiing. By leaning how to use speed and steering in curves you will gradually become better. The goal is to ski down the full length of the slope at the end of the course with the parallel technique.
The group will consist of a maximum of 8 participants under supervision by a skilled instructor.

There is no minimum participant number for skiing/snowboarding courses. Tip: classes are often smaller in the summer and pre-season, so you can get more intensive lessons then.
