At SnowWorld, we are aware of the impact of our business activities on the environment and society and want to act in this in such a way that the natural environment remains preserved and available for future generations. We do this by increasingly integrating sustainability into our business processes, services and products. To achieve this, we make conscious choices and seek a balance between people, planet and result. This is a process, not a final destination. In recent years SnowWorld has invested in making its various locations more sustainable and has chosen to apply for Green Key certification for all of them. All six locations are now Green Key Gold certified, namely SnowWorld Landgraaf, SnowWorld Zoetermeer, SnowWorld Amsterdam, SnowWorld Rucphen-Breda, SnowWorld Terneuzen and Indoor Skydive Roosendaal.

What is Green Key?
Green Key is the international quality mark for sustainable businesses in the leisure and recreation sector and business market. Companies with a Green Key certification do all they can to preserve the environment without their guests compromising on comfort and quality. ■ We actively keep abreast of CSR developments and actively contribute to transferring our knowledge about them to employees and guests.
■ We inform our guests, employees and suppliers how we do business in a socially responsible way.
■ We make transparent agreements with stakeholders about the quality of our services and how we monitor quality.
■ In addition to the financial impact, we determine the social and environmental impact of our product and limit any negative impact of this as much as possible.
■ We voluntarily contribute to social causes through donations and sponsorships and/or through volunteering.
■ Wherever possible, we try to inform and facilitate our guests and customers in reducing their environmental impact.
■ We work continuously to reduce our environmental impact and increase the sustainable nature of our business. By actively striving to reduce waste streams and our consumption of gas, water, electricity and fossil fuels.
■ We work continuously to improve our own procurement process and focus in particular on goods and services that are sustainable, preferably carrying a recognised environmental and/or sustainability and/or social label.
