Adults (ages 13 and up) can take a one-day snowboarding course at SnowWorld. You will get no less than six hours of lessons in one day to master the boarding so quickly. During this day you and the teacher will be on the slopes for six hours divided into 3 blocks with breaks.
What does this course look like? The starting point of the course is that you start with no experience. The instructor will explain to you how to handle the board, followed by the first introduction to gliding and finally we will start making turns. The goal at the end of the day is to calmly descend our big slope in good turns and independently.
This course is the continuation of the beginner's course (level 1).
The lessons continue where the previous course ended, namely at the basic turns on the big piste. At the start of the lesson, the instructor will take participants on a short downhill run to re-experience the feel of the snowboard before continuing to improve control on the snowboard. During the course you will learn how to gain (more) control of your snowboard in basic stance (and feeling more confident on the snowboard), making turns more fluid and controlling speed, among other things.
This course is the continuation of the mildly advanced course (level 2).
What is the goal of this course? The goal is to relax on your snowboard by applying the learned technique. This makes you less (fast) tired, you have less risk of injuries and you have more fun while snowboarding. During the lessons you will learn how to use your whole body and you will work on developing rhythm while snowboarding, increasing your speed in a controlled way and steering your turns well in and out of carving.
We aim to finish this course by making dynamically well-tied turns.
