The Dutch school team championships are coming up again and SnowWorld, together with the Dutch Ski Association, is organising the preliminaries! If you're not a top athlete (yet), but an enthusiastic winter athlete, then this series is just the thing for you and your schoolmates! Get a look behind the scenes of a ski or snowboard competition.
During this competition, fun is paramount and the main aim is to make sure everyone has a great day in the snow. Compete with your classmates for qualification for the final of the NK School Teams!
The slalom competition is open to anyone who can ski or snowboard in turns on a blue slope. The course and slope are designed to make participation possible for everyone.
The preliminary rounds for the NK School Teams Ski & Snowboard will take place on the following dates and locations:

Tip: the more teams from your school participate, the more chance you have of a place in the national final!
Tip: stand a chance of winning a wildcard spot in the final with a team of which all members are under 10 years of age (born in 2014 or later).
This event is subject to SnowWorld's General Conditions and the General Conditions of Competition & Events of the Dutch Ski Association. In addition, the competitions will be skied according to the Competition Regulations NK Schoolteams.
Every participant is required to wear a helmet and gloves.

At SnowWorld, every participant is a winner! Every participant will receive a medal! In addition, there are prizes for:

The award ceremony will take place approximately 1 hour after the end of protest time. Place and time of the award ceremony will be communicated on site.

Results will be shared here the Monday after the preliminaries.

Do you, as a parent, want to come along on the slopes and support from up close? You can do so as a skier or snowboarder - book your slope access below.
Non-skiers and snowboarders are not allowed on the slopes for safety reasons. Support is also possible from our various catering facilities, with a clear view of the slopes!
Book your slope accessBut it doesn't stop at this fun event! Compete together with your classmates for qualification to the finals of the NK Schoolteams on April 5, 2025 in SnowWorld Zoetermeer. From each preliminary round, at least the best three teams per category will advance to the final of the NK Schoolteams. With more than 50 participants in a category in the preliminary round, more teams qualify for the finals. The more participants, the more teams advance! How many teams advance is shown in the table below. Every team that qualifies for the final will receive an official invitation and all necessary information from the NSkiV.
Example: if 80 participants compete in the primary ski category, the best 5 teams in that category will go through to the final.
